IMPORTANT:
Proper timing of the action is critical.

Before installing:

  1. Ensure the lever is fully closed and locked
  2. Rotate the hammer upward slightly

The bolt must remain fully forward during installation.

Step 12 – Align Hammer Rebound Plunger

As the trigger assembly is installed:

  1. Ensure the hammer rebound plunger protrudes through the rear receiver opening
  2. Confirm it can be felt through the rear mainspring access hole

WARNING:
Failure to align this plunger correctly will result in improper operation.

Step 13 – Install Trigger Guard Assembly

  1. Insert the trigger guard assembly into the receiver
  2. Keep downward pressure on the assembly to maintain gear timing
  3. Align mounting holes

Step 14 – Install Rear Trigger Guard Screw

Install the short trigger guard screw first.

  1. Hold the assembly firmly in position
  2. Install the short screw
  3. Tighten snugly

Step 15 – Verify Timing

Check the rear of the receiver.

Correct installation:

  • Bolt sits flush with the rear of the receiver

If the bolt is not flush:

  • Remove the assembly
  • Repeat installation and timing procedure

IMPORTANT:
This is the primary indicator that the action is timed correctly.

Step 16 – Reinstall Main Spring Assembly

At the rear of the receiver:

  1. Align the mainspring piston with the hammer rebound plunger
  2. Insert:
    • Main spring piston
    • Main spring
